SAN Engineer to $160,000 total compensation NYC PAID RELOCATION & VISA TRANSFERS

This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced team of eleven storage

professionals managing more than 2 petabytes of usable storage.  The team is

also involved in improving internal procedures and evaluating new storage

technology to improve the  infrastructure.  Candidates should have 6 or

 more years experience with large SAN infrastructure involving EMC and Brocade

hardware servicing primarily UNIX (AIX/Solaris) hosts, and need to have solid

scripting ability in either Shell or Perl.  Bachelor's degree in Computer

Science or relevant field, or equivalent expertise required.                   

                                                                               

Requirements:                                                                  

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field (or equivalent

expertise)                                                                     

- 6+ years hands-on experience with large SAN infrastructure involving EMC and

Brocade hardware servicing primarily Unix (AIX/Solaris) hosts                   

- Experience designing and managing large-scale and complex NAS storage arrays

(preferably Netapp or EMC Celerra)                                             

- Experience with EMP PowerPath and EMC Control Center                         

- Knowledge of EMC SRDF a Plus                                                 

- Solid understanding of AIX and/or Solaris                                    

- Knowledge of Linux or Windows a plus                                         

- Ability to write scripts in an adminstrative language (e.g. perl, shell

scripts)                                                                       

- Solid verbal and written Communication and Documentation skills
