Primary Skills:        
Description:    Endeca Architect who can either relocate or travel to Los Angeles (relocation assistance is available). This position will lead the technical solution definition and design for a major firm. The Architect must work with internal users and external vendors to architect our solutions for projected growth while maintaining stability, security, and usability Candidates must be willing to relocate or travel to this location Monday thru Friday. 

Key Responsibilities: 
Participate in defining the architectural vision and direction of Endeca solutions. 
Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into innovative technology solutions and ensure architectural consistency across solution boundaries. 
Create technology roadmaps in line with business vision and direction. 
Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in existing applications and recommend solutions. 
Work collaboratively with the other technical experts in IT to make technology decisions impacting cross portfolio solutions and implementations 
Suggest application enhancements to provide greater functionality and capabilities 
Direct and manage the development team both onshore and offshore. 

Qualifications: 
Minimum 10 years experience working with IT Technologies. 
Minimum 1 year Endeca Development/Architecture experience 
Experience with the global service delivery model. 
Experience creating solutions and managing full life cycle development. 

Preferred Skills: 
Previous experience in IT consulting. 
Strong leadership skills, decision making and problem solving abilities 
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions using Endeca technologies 
Significant depth of expertise and track record of accomplishments and leadership skills in multiple Technologies 
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and project management skills 
The ability to drive process re-design and improvements and provide direction to others for the implementation of those improvements 
Bachelors Degree
