Description:    Position Requirements 
BA/BS degree is required. MBA preferred. 
5-7 years leading a team as a Search Engine Marketing Manager or Director of Online/Search Marketing. 
Able to work with all levels of leadership and articulate data and findings to be applied to the business 
Able to present and evangelize the value of SEO . Expertise with Paid Search is a plus 
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills 
Strong written and oral communication skills 
Strong web analytics skills including experience with web analytics software, such as Coremetrics, Omniture, and/or Google Analytics 
Solid understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms and principals 
Basic web design and development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, DNS, robots, etc.) 
A track record for continually improving and optimizing SEM, SEO, PLA and other digital marketing programs 
Experience working with a multi-channel online retailer is a plus 

Responsibilities 
Develop and evangelize paid search, SEO and shopping engine strategies and plans across the organization. 
Responsible for the revenue, new customer and P&L goals 
Define goals and strategies for paid search and SEO by each product category/division. 
Manage agency and technology platform relationships to understand industry best practice, develop and execute strategies for the company. 
Analyze and translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable SEO and Paid Search Quarterly and Annual Plans. 
Develop key measurement strategies and metrics; Work with web analytics team to establish reports that measure successes and help identify opportunities. 
Define SEO requirements and recommend site enhancements to elevate search engine rankings for keywords. 
Build strong working relationships with marketing, PR, IT, and other constituents to ensure that all efforts are understood and supported across the organization. 
Serve as an SME to ensure that best practices are shared and leveraged by all relevant internal groups. Educate employees and partners by conducting internal workshops and seminars.
