Need for Perl/Java developer

 

Local preferred

 

Rate: $45-50/hr

Location: Bay Area, CA

Duration:  6 to 12 months

Start: ASAP

 

The candidate should have the following skills at a basic level:

• 6 years Perl and Java (preferably stronger in perl)
• 5 Years web-development on CGI and J2EE environments
  Familiarity with Solaris, CVS, PVCS, Mercury Kintana are an added plus as is proficiency in Linux, C/C++ and object perl
• Should be experienced in analysis, design and delivery of systems (has worked in all phases of a project life cycle)
• Should know the basic concepts of how applications work on CGI and J2EE environments. Should be able to troubleshoot issues with web-based applications.
