* This position will provide leadership in consumer research to deliver insights that will guide 1) Third category creation and pipeline development; 2) C-Foods nutrition strategy and product development strategy, 3) Innovation strategic roadmap development.
* This person will be accountable for assessing information needs, and developing and implementing plans to address those needs.
* This person will be experienced at integrating relevant knowledge for maximum insight with the ability to translate into actionable recommendations.
* Lead and manage C-Foods Innovation insights initiatives focused against two lead platform areas.
* Co-lead with Innovation Marketing organization the ongoing innovation and business strategy for delivering against the long range algorithms for all new product platform areas.
* Collaborate with Innovation, Bars and Lite Snacks Marketing teams to strengthen the CF toolkit for efficiently/effectively building the innovation pipeline, launching innovation to the marketplace, and deploying best practices toolkit training to CF personnel.
* Participate and lead Convenience Foods division strategy and growth initiatives, as well as other special projects as needed.
* Effectively manage A&M budget ($2-$3MM).
- Minimum, 4 year degree; advanced management/analytics/statistics degree.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing research experience in survey, syndicated, and exposure to analytics (consumer goods preferred).
- Background to include significant marketing research experience across base and new products, and several lines of business/channels.
- Must be able to provide innovative solutions with executional implications that are embraced by key constituents, including peer and senior leadership decision makers and external business units (i.e. Frito-Lay Salty).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations that influence key constituents.
- Must have demonstrated cross-functional expertise and can thrive in a highly complex environment.
- Strong personal drive for results.
- Must have aptitude for people leadership capabilities: development, coaching, objective setting, and results measurement.
- Intellectually agile: able to respond creatively in problem solving and leading both internal and external customers.
- Capable of leading and multi-tasking against several key initiatives simultaneously, while delivering business objectives.
- Proven collaborator, alliance-building oriented individual with excellent and agile negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
