| Description: | "Blue Chip" global industry leader has an opportunity for an Internal Auditor with an IT focus to join the Internal Auditing group as the result of their global growth plans for 2014 and beyond.
You will:
- Perform IT and Operational Audit Procedures in an integrated SAP environment
- Communicate Progress, Issues and Concerns to Superiors: Inform supervisors of audit progress and difficulties encountered on a timely basis
- Prepare and Communicate Audit Results: Conduct entrance and exit conferences and draft value-added audit reports in good form on a timely basis
- Complete Special Projects and Management Requests and ssist with fraud investigations and the evaluation of new system implementations
- Take direct part in Process Improvement Initiatives such as expanding the Quality Through Excellence Program (QTE)
- Plan Assigned Audits/Sections of Audits
- Prepare audit notification letters, conduct entrance conferences, evaluate audit risk, develop information technology audit strategies and tactics, and prepare audit programs
Education/Certifications:
- BS/BA in degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Sciences and Technology, or related degree required
- Professional certifications preferred (CISA, CISSP, CPA, CFE, CIA, etc.)
- MBA and foreign language skills are a plus
Experience/Qualifications:
- 2 – 5 years experience in IT Auditing, Information Technology, Public Accounting or Consulting
- Must be willing to travel internationally up to 30%
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning software, Oracle databases and Unix operating systems
- Professional judgment and knowledge of business processes, systems, and auditing techniques is required
- Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) section 404
- Solid written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
