Description:   

This position is responsible for leading and providing a wide array of System Administration duties. This team itself is responsible for administration and enablement services centering on Intranet targeted web-based collaboration tools.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Architect and Implement broad base Collaboration solutions on platforms including, but not limited to SharePoint (On premise 2010 and above and SharePoint Online)

 

Plan, lead and execute SharePoint Farm Administration activities in a large multi component virtualized farm.

 

Plan, lead and execute IIS Web Host Administration activities for a large shared service .Net Web Hosting service

 

Ability to architect, develop and support SharePoint Administration utilities via PowerShell

 

Plan and lead technical implementations of major SharePoint projects

 

Provide technical training and mentoring to other professional employees

 

Provide technical briefings to team members and management

 

Participate in second level Collaboration support, including weekend, evening and overtime activities

 

Serve as a liaison to Infrastructure Operations teams for dependency related hardware platforms including but not limited to VMWare, F5 Content Switches, Riverbed WAN acceleration devices and backend SANs
