Experience Required To perform this job successfully, this individual must possess an understanding of R&M USFVC business domain knowledge. Domain areas involve: Retail, Pipeline, Refining and Supply. Specific projects will need expertise in specific domain areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Direct the requirements development for applying technology to satisfy business needs.
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits. Structure agendas for requirements’ gathering sessions.
• Document business process maps, including both current and future state workflows, layout scenarios for task and workflow analysis.
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into details
• Produce business cases as needed. Identify benefits that will be realized by delivering to the business requirements with inputs from stakeholders
• Ensure traceability of requirements into Functional Designs and Test scenarios
• Develop and Review functional specifications and technical design specifications.
• Interface with vendor partners and design optimal solutions for integration with domain based applications
• Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks. Engage stakeholders in UAT planning, UAT scenarios and execution of UAT related activities. This includes testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Drive Defect Triage sessions during go-live phases. Includes prioritization of defects, Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
• Deliver informative, well-organized presentations.
