Job Title:	Citrix Engineer – TBD
Division/Department:	Telecommunications / CTO
Position Reports to:	TC Citrix Engineer
Salary Range:	$80000 - $90000 +bonus

 

Basic Function:

Provide solutions to growing Citrix environment.  Forward thinking looking at new technology in the terminal server space and virtualization market keeping focus on business requirements. Help coordinate expanding Citrix projects ensuring that all project deliverables are met. 

Primary Responsibility:

1.	15%	Establishes Citrix project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
2.	15%	Work with internal monitoring teams to make sure security alerts and infrastructure monitoring for all Citrix servers are optimized.
3.	20%	Establish capacity planning model and utilization reports of all Citrix servers.
4.	15%	Provides specifications, configurations, documentation and turnover to production support.
5.	15%	Work with the various CXO organizations to design and implement new services and products, providing input on architecture, system sizing, and fault tolerance.
6.	10%	Create intimate working relationship with the various CXO’s to foster a strong working relationship built on trust and respect.
7.	10%	Coordinate with CXO organization to ensure timely completion and prioritization of projects.

Skills Required:

·         Must have at least five years experience supporting and deploying Citrix on Windows Terminal Server Platform.

·         Must have B.S. or equivalent (i.e. job experience) in Computer Science or related discipline.

·         Must have Citrix Certification (Citrix CCA and/or CCEA)

·         Must have a strong understanding of business systems development.

·         Must have strong team leadership skills and willing to share knowledge and cross train other members in the team and support arm.

·         Must have excellent problem solving skills.
