RESPONSIBILITIES: The Internal Review Manager reports to the Director of Internal Controls and is responsible for managing the assessment and review of internal controls. This includes overseeing the testing and verification of internal controls, as well as, the monitoring of significant firm issues to ensure adequate resolution plans are developed and executed. The Internal Review Manager will be responsible for working with senior managers to communicate issues identified during testing and to obtain appropriate plans for the resolution of these issues. In addition, this position will coordinate with the Internal Controls Implementation and Communication Manager to provide a substantive review of new policies and procedures, and implementation plans for new regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS: Through understanding of brokerage industry including systems, processes and controls, methodologies and tools, as well as, business unit functions. Ten years financial services or audit experience required. Three years Internal Audit, Regulatory Examination or similar experience is required. Through understanding of regulatory requirements preferred. Ability to collaborate with others, initiate action, adapt to change, make difficult decisions and accept challenging assignments. Ability to evaluate and solve problems from multiple perspectives. Knowledge of sophisticated and or complex products, processes or functions is preferred. Advanced degree or certification (CPA, CIA, or CFA) preferred. Ability to identify and direct team members strengths. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The Internal Review Manager must have or obtain the Series 7 and 24 securities registrations. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
