Location: Century City, L.A.

 

Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Base: $120K (+ or -) Large Bonuses

5 years Portfolio Accounting Systems

 

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in the Investment Management domain

 

The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience supporting the full life-cycle of portfolio accounting systems. An understanding of trade flow, settlement, pricing, reconciliation, reporting, compliance, and investment accounting is required.

 

The analyst will act as the primary liaison between IT and Investment Management teams. This person will work to determine requirements, and develop and implement systems that meet those requirements.

 

Candidates with experience in the following would be preferred.

·         Full trade life cycle

·         Bloomberg

·         Expertise with Thompson Financials Portia, as well as Eagle performance packages

·         Fundamental understanding of securities industry / securities processing

·         Fixed Income knowledge a plus

 

Knowledge of Data Warehouse products a plus

 

The candidate should have demonstrated experience in developing operational process flows, writing business and functional requirements, as well as have the ability to map conceptual financial and business requirements to practical systems capabilities.

Prior experience implementing & supporting portfolio accounting systems is a must
