Description:    Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation or related degree with 6+ years of instrumentation and electrical experience OR a Master’s degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation or related degree with 0-4+ years of instrumentation or electrical experience OR a Ph.D. in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation or related degree with 0-2+ years of instrumentation or electrical experience 
• 3+ years of experience with Distributed Control Systems, instrumentation selection and sizing and low voltage electrical systems 
• Knowledge of the engineering and maintenance practices for process control systems. This includes analog and digital controls, distributed and computer controlled systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) 
• In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and electrical field hardware application, selection, and installation practices 
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code, power distribution up to 480V, and 480 V/2300V/4160V motor controls 
• Working knowledge of PLC configuration (AB preferred) 
• In-depth knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft office software 
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member 
• Ability to interact with management in various departments is required in coordinating and complying with approved standards and policies 
• Ability and willingness to travel, when required 
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours and provide call-in coverage, when required. 

Plusses: 
• 5+ years of experience with Distributed Control Systems, instrumentation selection and sizing and low voltage electrical systems 
• Previous experience working in an industrial chemical complex 
• DeltaV DCS experience 
• Experience working in SAP, InTools and Documentum.
