 two (2) experienced C/C++ Unix Programmers to work in their unit. Here are both the detailed description and the requirements:

 

DESCRIPTION:
This subteam of Interfaces and Tickers is offering challenging positions to
immediately work on software development supporting various business
products such as real-time feeds (in and outbound) and development,
management, and support teams across the firm. Various languages and
technologies are used with a focus on C/C++/Perl, relational data modeling,
and service-oriented architectures.
We are looking for motivated individuals willing to learn and apply their
knowledge in solving problems to benefit others, designing with future
flexibility in mind, interested in working on a variety of challenging
projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be:
A capable software engineer (3+ years using C/C++) in UNIX
Motivated, and willing to learn
Able to adapt and work on a variety of projects with different technologies
Able to contribute good ideas and flexible solutions
Able to communicate effectively and have good organizational skills
Pluses: Experience with data modeling, UI development./familiarity with GTK
