Job Description:	FICC Tech - Client Web Technology - C# Analyst/Developer                                         Location Employment Type   New York Full Time Regular   Requirements SUMMARY: Client Web Technology Group is currently constructing a new e-trading desktop, which is based on the Microsoft .Net Framework. The architecture should provide a lightweight, extensible GUI which will act as the basis for other products offered on the application, across Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Equities markets. The Client Web Technology team is looking for an experienced application developer to help ensure that this effort succeeds. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Work in a team and independently to design and implement application components. -Participate and contribute in design sessions. -Produce maintainable, well documented software. -Diagnose and correct problems encountered in a complex multithreaded software system. -Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with other developers to gather business requirements and to work out acceptable solutions. -Contribute to the use of Best Practices within the group. -Help train and mentor new application developers. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: *Required* -At least 5 years of total application development experience -At least 2 years of application development experience with C#. -Good problem solving and analytical skills. -Solid understanding of Windows Forms and GUI programming. -Strong understanding of multithreaded applications. -Experience developing sophisticated GUI applications for Windows. -Demonstrated experience developing commercial real-time applications. -Good communication skills to work with business developers across various product lines. *Preferred* -Prior experience/knowledge of Java application development a + -Experience developing distributed applications. -Object-oriented analysis and design. -Applying design patterns to develop concrete programming solutions. -Experience with unit testing frameworks. -High performance graphical rendering. -Experience developing custom controls using Windows Forms. -Graphic programming for real-time systems with high visual update rates.

Job Title: Senior UAT Tester

Location: Jersey City, NJ

 

Description:

UAT Tester is to support internal testing of financial desktop application database, to ensure delivery of high-quality products to internal and external clients.  Tester is to assist ASP Help Desk with investigating reported issues by internal and external clients and determining the nature of the issues for proper assignment, communication, and escalation. This position relates to internal clients, primarily the middle office and back office staff, as well as all Development staff.

 

Qualifications required:

• Test regression and performance, both manually and automated, of trading and administrative applications
• Generate and implement test plans and procedures
• Design and maintain manual and automated test scripts
• Manage, reproduce and track bugs and fixes, and provide documentation on testing results
• Provide Release Notes/Training to user community for any system modifications and/or enhancements
• Understand full systems project lifecycle
• Understand full trade lifecycle
• Minimum 2+ years of application development experience
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience dealing with Unix and Sybase performing such tasks as restarts and kills, evaluating and tailing log files, command and port connectivity and updates
• Participating in testing financial trading and accounting systems
• Excellent organizational/presentation & listening skills
• Ability to adapt to change in work priorities as requested and multi-task within various projects
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Extensive business knowledge of front, middle and back office activities associated with any or all of the following financial instruments:

·         Equities

·         Options

·         Fixed Income

·         Swaps

·         Currency

·         Commodities

·         Forwards

·         Futures
