Job Description:	Relocation and H1Bs  OK      Startup, 7 months old  with many respected hedge fund clients       The Tech Keys are: Open source (they don't like to see legacy systems because they won't believe that open source is the candidate's first love or real strength). Web based technologies. Strong generalist. Strong distributed computing. Java opensource: Spring Hibernate.    IN ORDER: strength should be: 1 Server side on the backend 2.Some frontend 3.Database (MySQL preferred) is the *least* important.    The Challenge:   Build a new platform from the ground up. Architecture, database design, server configuration, build management and of course, coding.     Someone who has worked on eTrade or Ameritrade platforms, someone who has worked on a scalable prime brokerage platform is ideal.  Scalable distributed computing experience is key.    95% coding, 5% team lead. 12 developers, 6 offshore.     Current platform is Windows 2003, MySql, some MS SQL. Will be scaling out on Linux.    Tech Cred: . 4+ years of hands on Java (J2SE and J2EE; also JUnit) . 3+ years experience with MySQL and/or MS SQL Server . 2+ years with Hibernate (or other ORM packages) . 2+ years with Spring . Use Eclipse, SVN and Ant/Maven as your preferred environment . Experience with Apache Tomcat, JBoss or other application server . Experience with Linux or Windows . Experience in Financial Services is helpful, but they only need the *barest* of business knowledge in the sector.

BACK OFFICE and ACCOUNTING CONSULTANT NEW YORK After a training period, your role will start very early to support the sales process. Acting as a business expert, you will run demonstrations and manage workshops to present the functional and technical benefits our users are getting from our Back Office and Accounting Modules. You will coordinate and project manage trial periods and implementations onsite with the clients. Ensuring training and providing consultancy activities will be part of your responsibilities. To ensure a high level of client satisfaction, it is expected from you to have a Master from a top-rated Engineering School/Scientific University. A 1 to 2 years experience related to the Back Office in the Investment Banking sector will be appreciated and used but this is not a must as we are ready to provide our people with an intense training to get the knowledge being acquired. Proficiency in VBA is a requirement as well as SQL/Oracle.  The position will involve a training period in Europe.

Job Description:	Job Description-  AIX Systems Administrator:   Will be responsible for supporting all AIX operating systems and configurations supporting critical  functions. These extremely costly and complex projects will have very wide operational impact . They will manage timekeeping, Human Resources, and Budget and financial information. This individual will manage the installation of AIX operating system software, creating LPARs, managing resources, patching, upgrading, monitoring, performance/tuning and problem determination/resolution in all AIX environments.  The AIX Systems Administrator will also have some responsibilities relating to SAN design and implementation and Disaster Recovery.   Qualification Requirements: 1. A master's degree in computer science from an accredited college and three years of progressively more responsible, full-time, satisfactory experience using mainframe, mini- or micro-computer technology in computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, data base administration, or planning of data processing, at least 18 months of this experience must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity in the areas of computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, data base administration, or planning of data processing or in the supervision of staff performing these duties; or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of experience as described in "1" above; or 3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of experience as described in "1" above; or 4. Education and experience equivalent to "1", "2" or "3" above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and must possess at least three years of experience as described in "1" above, including the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience as described in "1" above.   Essential Skills: A strong understanding of monitoring and capacity planning tool is required. Knowledge of EMC Symmetric SAN environment, Veritas Netbackup and BMC Patrol a plus.
