Serve as a back up in the risk management oversight to funds (e.g., daily testing, affiliate testing, Form 13F filings, monthly Zoomerang testing and annual due diligence questionnaires). Serve as the back up to the Director of Administration Assist in the development and implementation of relationship management database.   Requirements: Four-year undergraduate degree desired Two- to four-years investment, project management, compliance, or investment risk management experience Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail Strong ability to communicate at all levels Strong quantitative, written and oral communication skills Understanding of investments and the capital markets needed, paralegal experience would be helpful

- Day to day UNIX/LINUX support

- Development of scripts and programs to support business requirements

- Work with 3 party organizations on the configuration and support of large scale Web and database applications and to insure Service level agreements are maintained  

- Develop disaster recovery plans and associated backup strategies

Experience

 

- Development of Unix scripts and program using other programming languages (such as Python) to support business requirements

- Daily OS administration, production monitoring and support 

- Support of large scale public web environment using Apache / Tomcat / WebSphere

- Use of all common Unix tools to manipulate data – especially web logs

- Working with 3 party hosting companies  

 

 

Skills

 

- Strong technical knowledge of Solaris and Linux

- Configuration knowledge for Solaris and Linux

- Solaris/Linux OS Administration skills

- Strong scripting ability using various scripting tools and languages – shell, Python, Perl

- Knowledge of performance monitoring techniques and tools
