Occasional weekend and late night support for production support and migration 

This position will support critical applications running on IBM's Websphere suite of products including administration of WAS and Websphere Portal. Below is the list of specific responsibilities required for this position. 
Install and configure Websphere Application Server V6.1 and V7 & V8 on Linux / Windows / AIX. 
Install and configure Websphere Virtual Enterprise Server V6.1 and V7 on Linux / Windows / AIX. 
Expertise in WebSphere clustering and running on a virtualized environment 
Install and configure Websphere Portal Server V6.1 and V7 on Linux / Windows / AIX. 
Install and configure IBM HTTP Server V6.1 and V7 on Linux / Windows / AIX. 
Configure LDAP such as Microsoft Active Directory and Novell e-directory for WebSphere Portal and Application Servers. 
Knowledge of configuring standalone and federated repositories. 
Configure Datasource with Oracle Databases. 
Deployment of Enterprise applications, installation and configuration of new application, configuring and/or modifying application content. 
Knwoledge of wsadmin scripting, jython, jacl and shell scripts. 
Automation of the enterprise application deployment process (Strong JACL Expertise). 
Install, configure and maintain SSL Certificates. 
Troubleshoot and Support problem solving for any issues related to all the above platforms and products. 
Provide 24X7 Production Support. 
Driving the investigation and resolution of issues effectively. 
Maintain and Upgrade new versions/technologies for WAS. 
Applying WebSphere patches & upgrades. 
Applying maintenance changes (within the Change Management Process) 
Contributing and participating in putting new deployments in place. 
Delivery of project based work to agreed target dates. 
Provide industry best practices in the IBM WebSphere domain. 
Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members.

* Experience with the latest statistical methods and techniques. 
* Ability and experience to draw insights from data analysis and produce quantitative models incorporating such insights. 
* Ability to communicate concepts, results and techniques with traders and risk managers. 
* Computer skills sufficient to implement prototypes of such models. 

Desirable background: 
* 3-5 years research experience in one or more of quantitative prepayment, fixed income or interest rate modeling.
