This position is located in Melville and will go to about 85K. This person is involved in the implementation of the product as an in-house manager. This person works with the client in terms of the Statement of work and them manages the resources, Field Engineer, implementation and support throughout the process. This person should be technical enough to understand the process and the product.
Candidates should have 5+ years in a Systems Administration Background including MS 2000/2003 OS
Strong candidates will have experience with implementation of web based enterprise systems.
Experience with IIS, multi-server environments and security is a big plus
Strong understanding of AD Structures, Domain Structures, Domain Configurations, Domain Trust and Group Policy is necessary.
PBX experience is a +, exposure to interfacing with Avaya or Nortel.
This candidate will work with Implementation PM’s and the Engineering teams. They will know what the deliverables are, what the solutions are and how they will be executed. They will act as support for the Field Services people implementing the product.
Candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, analyzing and troubleshoot system flow issues. They will understand how it communicates between the layers
Experience with Business Objects Reporting is a plus.

Job Summary: The Project Support Analyst will provide technical support to Implementation Engineers and Project Management group on all product lines in the Americas region. The Project Support Analyst will strive to achieve timely closure of project implementation issues and customer acceptance. He/she will provide technical direction and assistance to support Implementation and Integration Engineers while on-site deploying system solutions. The successful candidate must be customer focused, be able to work independently and have the ability to manage and resolve solutions to complex technical issues.
-Experience with Enterprise Applications
-Must have knowledge of Windows 2003 core technology
-Knowledge of IT Security issues (firewall, Microsoft security, IIS lockdown) required.
-Knowledge of Network structure (LAN, WAN), protocols (TCP/IP, ISDN, X25) and communication equipment functionality and configuration (hubs, switching hubs, routers) is a must.
Must have basic knowledge of Databases (SQL Server 2000) and SQL commands.
-Knowledge of Hardware – Server’s H/W modules, drivers’ installation etc.
-Knowledge of Telephone systems – PBX/ACD, CTI and VoIP is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent required.
- Previous Second/Third level technical support and/or training experience is preferred.
- Previous experience managing an outsourced technical support supplier preferred
