•Lead supply chain management side including inventory management, capacity management, logistics management, and procurement activities 
•Lead product supply-related global business planning activities, including: developing new supply chain strategies, SKU rationalization, and managing global product lifecycles 
•Ensure short term and long term capacity planning is in place to meet global demand 
•Ensure production planning delivers flow within inventory targets & meets customer service objectives 
•Optimize production run quantities to minimize total costs 
•Drive process excellence and integration with SAP ECC and SCM tools 
•Lead S&OP step 3 process/meeting and be key contributor to step 4 and step 5 
•Ensure new products and packaging changes are properly planned for and implemented •Develop and lead a high performing team 
•Identify and deliver cost savings

Description:    This position requires a strong background in Engine System Dynamics and Stability, Vibrations, Impact & Loads analyses. Specific knowledge in engine structural dynamics including rotor dynamics, maneuver loads and fan blade out loads is an advantage. 

As an ED&L Programs Manager, responsibilities will include planning and managing technical ED&L program tasks and milestones, manpower planning, employee development and performance assessments. 
Additionally, candidate will manage ED&L team to: 
- Perform a wide range of engine rotor dynamics, vibration and loads analyses in support of aircraft gas turbine engine programs. 
- Prescribe engine system design requirements to help assure engine products meet customer requirements for vibration, durability and abnormal loading (such as blade-off). 
- Prepare and deliver presentation materials to internal management and to airframe or government customers/regulators 
- Work directly with a variety of personnel to assure engine dynamics requirements are understood and properly implemented in component designs. 
- Prescribe instrumentation requirements for test measurement of engine loads and vibration parameters. 
- Monitor loads and vibration during engine testing, prepare assessments of test results, troubleshoot engine validation, production or field problems and recommend solutions. 
- Assist with the development of engine dynamics and loads methodology and process improvements that enhance product quality and reduce product cost. 
- Develop, manage & execute outsourcing strategy

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: 

• 5 or more years of development and design experience with the .NET platform is required. 
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft products including: Visual Studio .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web Services. 
• Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation, WCF, JQuery, and Powershell is strongly desired. 
• Experience with Silverlight is a plus. 
• Must have 5 or more years of database design and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. 
• Must have 5 or more years of SharePoint experience. Ideal candidates would have experience in administering and developing Sharepoint solutions. SharePoint 2010 experience is required. 
• Must have experience mentoring and leading teams of 2 or more developers 
• Microsoft certifications are a plus. 
• Strong ability to work in a customer interfacing environment. 
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary. 
• Exceptional leadership, communication and documentation skills. 
• Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant experience
