Supplier/Vendor Manager - (US-NY-New York)

Looking for and experienced VP level person to administer world-class supplier / vendor management program on behalf of Global Markets T&O Supplier Executive Office

• Experience with the financial industry, global markets, wealth management and treasury products

• Will be responsible for the management of the supplier portfolio, including:
o Supplier Risk Management (financial, info security, business continuity, sub contracting, etc) through adherence to Global Supplier Management Program Requirements
o Performance Management as Contractual (SLA) non-compliance issues arise
o Partner with Sourcing and LOB on evaluation of new suppliers through RFx process, and input into contract terms.
o Accountability to LOB regional executives to achieve additional LOB requirements (spend reduction, supplier rationalization, enhanced routines for region critical suppliers, LOB / Supplier Strategy Alignment, etc.)
o Manage miscellaneous projects as needs arise (process improvements, internal audits, regulatory support)
o Adherence to Global Supplier Management Program requirements including creation and modification of GSMP deliverables into SCM System of Record, Ariba.)

• Manage & Communicate supplier status, performance issues, risk mitigation plans, etc. to LOB executives, associates, internal support partners (Finance, Risk, Compliance) and regulatory agencies. Escalate as necessary to Supplier Executive and Designee as necessary.

• Experience handling supplier relationship management (Contract mgmt / 3rd party negotiations / SLA administration)
• Use of PowerPoint to communicate progress against targets
• Proficient analytical skills in Excel, Access is a must
• Ability to manage/develop cross-functional partnerships in support of the business goals and objectives in a matrixed environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 8 – 10 years Project Management Experience

Desired Skills
• Understanding of regulatory requirements a plus
• Quality tools and process control routines

· Bachelor’s degree plus at least 10 years experience in building data repositories from multiple source in the healthcare industry. The individual must have a strong passion for healthcare and the drive toward consumer transparency.
· A thorough knowledge of the business side of the medical and/or insurance pharmaceutical industries.
· Existing data resource contacts/connections in the healthcare industry, so as to hit the ground running.
· Digitally savvy, with a keen understanding of the importance of data transparency and how it is used along with the latest trends and industry directions.
· Substantial “presence” with the ability to present and communicate effectively and convincingly.
· Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills.
· Innovative thinker, strong management ability; ability to open doors, craft business deals and close win-win partnerships.
· Ability to think strategically, then execute and close partnerships necessary to implement the strategy.
· Experience with a wide variety of contracts, data leasing, revenue sharing, and licensing.
· Excellent blend of relationship, technical, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Ability to work in an extremely fast paced and high-energy work environment and to meet goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, lean-and mean small, growing company environment.
· Ability to take initiative, juggle multiple priorities, troubleshoot and work well with other departments.

Responsibilities
· Develop, negotiate and close strategic client relationships in the healthcare data industry.
· Work with the Vice President of Data Operations and other executives of the Company to identify opportunities, to develop an overall growth strategy and the tactics to achieve it.
· Develop, negotiate and close data acquisition, data licensing and data partnerships.
· Develop and manage strategic objectives, goals and milestones ensuring defined priorities are met.
· Partnerships should focus on maximizing data content expansion and completeness.
· Monitor and report on public federal and state data release initiatives timeframes.
· Monitor and report on competitors’ data initiatives.
