Data Services Group - Manager

Report directly to the Line of Business CIO for AM Data Services. Business Management responsibility for Global Data Management IT and Operations. Manage global finances for Data Services, report on budget vs. actual status for the group on various regional and global levels.   Identify potential cost savings / ways to leverage budgets within the scope of the Data Services business plan. Work with various budget planning tools including BEN (Business Engine Network) to Develop Strategic Plans and Budgets for Global IT & OPS Teams in the US, India, and Europe. Work directly with COO office and Controlling on all Financial Reporting and Accounting issues. Handle proposals for the group. Manage & maintain all group project status / milestone reporting in BEN, an IT / OPS project financial reporting tool. Off-shoring initiatives & vendor negotiations, reduce business costs Oversee audit responses, follow up, including internal, external, SOX/SEC audit Act as Business Continuity Manager / Disaster Recovery Manager for business line Complete IT risk assessments, SEC & SOX documentation for Global Data Management organization. Manage global headcount tracking / monthly reconciliation for all Internal, External and Vendor staff. Partner with vendor management group.

1. Strong background in cost accounting, min 1-3 years experience in controlling, accounting or business management.  
2. Solid communication skills: able to read, understand & interpret financial documents.

3.  Provide solutions to CIO to maximize output while keeping within budget targets.
3. IT/and or operations experience within Financial Services Industry a plus.
4. MBA a plus but not required.
