Sr QA Consultant (8+ years exp)

• Knowledge of trading GUI's and their use.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income Market
• Understanding of Fixed Income market data
• Understanding of multilegged trades (Interest Rate swaps, basis, spreads, etc.)
• Ability to generate test plan/test cases from GUI (Manual testing and Test Planning) and Matching Engine specifications
• Fluency with QTP

Analyze and review project cost reports and financial statements. Interface with senior project management in the development activities of assigned projects. Review and input invoices, budget transfers and J/E's. Cash flow projections. Variance analysis. Prepare monthly project and financial reports for assigned projects.     QUALIFICATIONS: Analytical and detail-oriented. Ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. Ability to work independently. Shows commitment to team objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. BS in Accounting. Financial Analyst to provide financial and operational support in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, month end closes and business planning. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with business leaders to build and analyze budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with operations to develop tools and analyses to increase the productivity/profitability of business units
• Assist business units with analysis of new initiatives, programs, promotions and other business development opportunities
• Assist the accounting & operations departments with the month-end close
• Report on financial results and key metrics against appropriate base comparisons (prior year, budget, reforecast); perform in-depth analyses to prepare and present business projections & deviations from plan
• Develop ad-hoc reports using Excel and other financial systems

 

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
• 4+ years of experience within an accounting or finance department; work experience in publishing or media is a big plus
• Must have solid experience with accounting fundamentals
• Experience working on the month-end closing process
• Strong experience with financial modeling
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Solomon and FRX experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proven track record of system implementation and enhancement
