*strong BGP design and implementation experience, both interior and exterior for highly redundant peering arrangements required;



* knowledge of network load balancing technologies a plus; knowledge of STP/PVST+ L2/L3 edge networking required; knowledge of remote access technologies and solutions preferred;



*in depth knowledge of the internet protocol and all common transport protocols required;



* proven ability to design and implement networking infrastructure on a large scale as well as documenting policies and procedures highly desired;

· Develop, test and implement the strategy for high availability, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery solutions

· Manage all databases in Development, QA, Production and Disaster recovery environments

· Manage Oracle RDBMS for installation, upgrade, and patch management per best practice and controlled project management lifecycles

· Implementing and configuring database monitoring scripts and tools

· Provide off hours support and maintenance as required, part of the 24x7 operations support on call rotations

· Willingness to learn and support other Databases like Postgres, MySQL, DB2, and SQL Server



Qualifications

Experience and Competencies

· 5+ years experience as an enterprise-level Oracle DBA role using Oracle 10g, 11g on Linux

· Experience with Oracle tools like RMAN, Export, Import, Data Guard, and Grid Control

· Experience with Unix shell or Perl scripting, a plus

· Excellent troubleshooting and demonstrated critical thinking skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Team player, core values and an interest in working in a mission driven environment

· Experience with Oracle RAC, a plus

· OCP certification, a plus
