This role will be responsible for design, development and support of OLAP databases and ETL processing behind a suite of data warehousing products. Inpatient pharmacy services are provided using decentralized and satellite-based pharmacy models. Most of the drug distribution is automated, using a Robot-Rx for cart fills and unit-based cabinets for narcotic and floor stock drug control. The Clinical Pharmacist will practice in a decentralized pharmacy setting, working collaboratively with physicians and nurses to provide care to the patient. Daily activities include drug therapy monitoring, provision of drug information and drug distribution activities. Other areas of involvement include inservices, drug use improvement initiatives, precepting of students and residents, and participation in pharmacy committees.

MUST HAVE PEOPLE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

DBA team is looking to add to their current talent with self-motivated, highly-experienced team leaders and Oracle Database Administrators. The DBA team is responsible for tasks such as project management, the development of best practices and repeatable procedures for deploying databases, and day-to-day operational activities including break/fix, space management, backup and recovery (using Storage Manager), database replication setup and management. The team also builds and maintains large-scale Oracle databases across multiple Solaris, AIX and Linux platforms.


Looking for a senior oracle DBA to be a team lead with the following experience:

- At least 10 years working with oracle technology
- 5 years in managing a large team of DBA’s.
- Project management and customer interaction.
- Managing large scale oracle deployments.
- Managing large oracle databases servicing OLTP and DSS applications.
- Solid understanding of oracle internal architecture is a plus.
- Performance tuning of database and SQL’s.
- Design and implementation of enterprise backup and recovery strategies for Databases.
- Designing and implementing database replication strategies.
- Experience in database software management (patch and version management).
- Case management with oracle technical support.
- Experience in designing repetitive processes.
- Coaching and mentoring.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Oracle Certification in 10G a must.
- Knowledge of ODBC/OTL/Perl is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, implements and analyzes technical products and systems.
Performs engineering design evaluations.

Responsible for the execution of the software systems development function, including the design, development, troubleshooting and debugging of software programs.
Responsible for determining hardware compatibility and/or influencing hardware design.
Installs software and user utilities for modifications and upgrades of operating systems and workstation environments.
Manages hardware maintenance and repair activities.
Diagnoses and resolves hardware problems.
Installs, configures, and tests workstations with supporting hardware, software, and networking components.
Actively security controls for SOX requirements
Participate in project meetings to understand application and database requirements

Experience and Skills Required:
Potential candidates for this position must meet the following suggested requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
Four to six years of related professional information technology experience in a system engineer or equivalent role, preferably in a financial setting.
