 This incumbent will mainly be responsible for providing development resource for the technology platforms used by the Wachovia equity derivative business, specifically, Imagine. This position will require interaction with the IT group, trading desks, order management, and risk management groups. This position will also be tasked with driving object-oriented analysis/design/development and ensuring the timely delivery of quality solutions and support. This position is located in New York City.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·          Analysis and design of technology solutions to meet business requirements (25%)

·          Development of technology solutions to meet business requirements (65%)

·          Second level support of technology platforms used by Capital Markets (10%)

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·          Bachelor’s Science in Computer Science or related field;

·          At least Five + years of software development experience predominantly using Java/J2EE;
