Will be responsible for management of various programs for machined products including propellant tanks, tank domes and engineered structures. The candidate will have the responsibility for leading cross functional teams in planning, organizing, executing, monitoring and controlling all aspects of the assigned programs to achieve internal and external customer commitments for delivery performance, financial performance and customer satisfaction. This includes responsibility for risk management, profit and loss, as well as organic growth. The ideal candidate will utilize the best practices of ACE and the Program Management System Standard in execution of their duties. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 
Minimum educational attainment is a Bachelors degree in related Engineering or Management disciplines. MS and/or MBA is preferred. The prospective applicant must possess competencies in leadership, team building, program execution, risk management, ability to drive ownership and responsibility, planning, organizing, sound business judgment and creative problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proven experience in customer interface are required. The selected candidate shall have 6-10 years of proven prior experience in manufacturing management and/or program management.

The prospective applicant will be responsible for the Military and Homeland Security businesses. The responsibilities include overall program performance, strategic planning, new business and organic growth pursuits, top line revenue growth (including assurance of revenue quality), and overall customer management and satisfaction for the defense marketplace. 

Education

Experience/Qualifications 
The prospective applicant must have prior experience in dealing with Army, Navy and Homeland customers. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proven experience in customer interface are required. Experience for the successful candidate must include from six to ten years of Project Management and/or Program Management. Experience operating in the Washington, D.C. environment a large plus.
