Requires consultancy based companies integrators rather than client side. 

Individual will be responsible for Cisco advanced security solutions for client environments, and will serve as a primary Cisco Security Engineer in this small consultancy practice. Candidate should be a subject matter expert for security and security management initiatives. This position will be responsible for all phases of projects: design, planning, implementation and ongoing support, and will be expected to perform duties for technical operations including review of sensor and system logs for signs of unusual network activity. Network responsibilities include identifying, assessing and developing detailed requirements for upgrading existing networks; as well as re-architecting network segments in order to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth. 

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent Engineering degree. Qualified candidate should have hands-on expertise and active CCIE Certification (Lab & Written). CISSP is highly desirable. 

• It is mandatory that candidate be able to demonstrate extensive expertise with CSM and MARS (cloud computing) (cisco monitoring and analysis) 

• It is mandatory that candidate be able to demonstrate extensive expertise with IPS, NAC and CSA. 

• Ironport knowledge helpful 

• Content Security knowledge helpful. 

• WAAS knowledge helpful. 

TRI-STATE TRAVEL - 

Minimum of 4 years experience in information security solution engineering and security service delivery. Stellar technical writing, documentation development, process mapping, and communication skills. Experience in managing several (two to four) concurrent large-scale enterprise wide information technology capability development projects. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

The Risk Middleware team within the Equity Linked Technology department develops applications for the Equity Derivatives business. The team works closely with the Quantitative Modeling team to build a platform for delivering on-demand risk and analytics. Strategic business objectives of the group include implementation of new analytical concepts and integration of new models. Additionally the team continually engages Architecture and Engineering in efforts to improve performance, scalability and reliability. The team is globally distributed with locations in New York, Toronto, London, Hong Kong and Mumbai. 

Job Responsibilities: 

· Supervise 3 developers 
· Take ownership of development efforts from initiation, through implementation, QA testing and deployment into Production. 
· Work closely with the team's Technical Lead and coordinate joint efforts with regional Development leads in Europe and Asia. 
· Interact with numerous functional units in the Business ranging from trading to finance as well as many peer development teams in the IT. 
· Work together with Project Management and Production Support groups and participate in 2nd level support on a rotational basis. 


Job Requirements: 
· Significant demonstrated experience building multi-threaded server-side applications in C++ on Linux 
· Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles 
· Knowledge of C++ Standard Template Library 
· Strong debugging skills, ability to work within established mature code bases 
· Familiarity with scripting languages, preferably some experience with Perl or Python 
· Excellent communication skills in English: both spoken and written 
· Absence of set technology preferences: must be willing to learn and apply new technologies which are best suited for specific tasks 
· Team player mentality 
· Focus on delivering business results 
· Sense of urgency and effectiveness in pressure conditions

The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of FIX protocol and will be responsible for production support of various FIX Client Connectivity platforms including real time production monitoring, interacting with clients and brokers regarding connectivity and trade related issues, configuring new connections in production and test environments. Additional responsibilities include FIX certification testing with new counterparties (both buy side and sell side) with ability to identify issues during testing, performing gap analysis of buy side client’s requirements with current system and sell side broker capabilities and documenting new features and system enhancements to satisfy those requirements. 

Additional technical and personal skills: 

Good working knowledge (user level) of UNIX / Linux operating systems. Familiarity with XML. Prior experience with emerging markets, high frequency trading and Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills is a big plus. Excellent Financial Industry knowledge. Strong organizational and communication skills. Focused and process driven. Ability to work under pressure. 

The right candidates coming out of the middle office- they may have some limited trading experience, they understand the realities of trading desk pressure and the support of trading desks (our clients), and a practical understanding of trading in some of the key markets we cover. Their experience of FIX will likely have come from addressing trade breaks from a business perspective, rather than most of the IT candidates, whose experience comes from analyzing technical FIX issues 

The candidate is likely to come from a brokerage, and be dealing with client on boarding but outside of the tech team. 

5+ years of experience supporting International, Institutional Trade environments 

Finance / Economics degree’s preferred

Initially, I have several assignments for Oracle BI business analysts, developers and architects. 

Take a technical deep dive of the client's application so that we can assess the architecture, current functionality and desired capability before writing a proposal. They are unable to demonstrate this to us over the internet, so a site visit is required to their shop. The team is likely a technical architect that will write the proposal, and a Subject Matter Expert to provide insight into the compliance. 

After the visit, a written proposal that will serve as the grant request for project. The proposal should clearly outline the level of effort in hours, resources/skill-sets as well as the planned deliverable.
