Required Experience:
·         Supervisory experience in a management position with solid experience with IBM DB2 for zOS in at least version 8, if not version 10
·         At least 8 years of experience in database administration or analysis
·         8+ years DB2 experience a must
·         Broad perspective of data processing; both mainframe and open systems.
College degree preferred.
 
Experience with SQL a plus
 
They will pay up to $100K for a lead/up to $110K for a manager
 
Should have DB2 systems experience, too

Incumbent will work with multiple stakeholders, both within the business and technology to build a holistic view of the organization's data architecture.

REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of experience in network, application, storage, or virtualization support required.
6+ years experience of firewall configuration, maintenance, design; Experience with WAN compression technologies; CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Analyst) Certification
Bachelor's degree and Industry standard Certifications required, Master's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job preferred.
 
RESPONSIBILILTIES
Level 3 support of Cisco equipment to include routers/switch, WiFi, security
Nexus, ASR, ISR, IPS, ASA, MSE, ACS, WLC, and others
Level 3 support of Riverbed optimization appliances
Level 3 support of Palo Alto appliances
Level 3 support of Global WAN/LAN, MPLS, VPN, QoS, NCS, and others
Analyze and recommend solutions, upgrades and services for streamlining and process improvements.
Support of hardware/software maintenance to include troubleshooting, installation and upgrades, Tier 3 support.
Support multiple locations worldwide (domestic and international travel may be required).
Complete IT projects and end user support duties as assigned.
Participate in architecture and design of IT projects and methodology.
Resolve incidents through effective troubleshooting methodology, Tier 3.
Maintain updated documentation while performing essential job duties.
Liaison with vendors, partners, and external resources.
Assist other analyst with troubleshooting and fulfillment processes.
Ability to clearly communicate with coworkers and customers (verbally and in writing).
Ability to train staff on technical operations.
Technical expertise on the operation, maintenance, management, and deployment of hardware/software.
