Senior Active Directory Enterprise Administrator

 

In this role you will be a member of the Global Enterprise Administration team that is responsible for Forest and Domain level support of Active Directory, internal DNS infrastructure, account administration and Windows Active Directory Infrastructure security implementation. Daily responsibilities include: implement and audit of minimum security configurations, some AD account/group administration related activities, configuration and implementation of Active Directory site configurations; group policies and local security policies; monitoring of AD replication and core services, facilitate automation and standardization for creation and maintenance of access on network shares; cross-train in various support areas in order to provide assistance during after hours on-call rotation. Candidate will also ensure that all documentation on process and procedures are available and updated regularly.

 

To be considered for this role you must have 3 to 5 years experience working as a senior level Windows Active Directory System Administrator with Active Directory and DNS planning, deployment and support experience. The position requires extensive experience with AD security delegation, AD disaster recovery, and AD group policy creation and administration, and login scripts. Understanding of the following is also required: Microsoft 200x Server, Windows Security, application integration with AD, Scripting using VBScript and/or Perl, ADSI and WMI, DNS, NTFS, DFS, 3rd Tier Support skills and strong Troubleshooting Skills.  Pluses would include Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft MOM and Cryptography. The position does require flexible hours to support changes and upgrades as well as participation in 24x7 on call rotation.

In this role you will be focused on supporting current and upcoming initiatives in the infrastructure group. You will be involved in site delivery and expansion, technology refresh projects as well as consolidation of firewall services (Direct, LAN to LAN and Secure-ID Client).

 

To be considered for this role you should have at least 5 years of Cisco routing experience combined with Cisco PIX Firewall skills. Your background should also include experience deploying redundant VPN facilities. Experience working for a financial services firm in a similar capacity is required as well.

 

Other required skills:

1)      LAN to LAN infrastructure upgrades experience.

2)      Experience creating VLAN’s on a DMZ to connect to other LAN to LAN clients.

3)      Experience with ASN routers, and BLN Interface Filters

4)      Experience with updating routing to provide dynamic routing capabilities during a failover scenario.
