Technical/Functional Skills
• A fulltime & experienced ATG technical architect who has done recent and extensive consulting for architectural design on ecommerce requirements and implementation. Should be able to define & design the architecture and integration with 3rd party systems
• Good technical experience in Java & J2EE technologies and good expertise on ATG frame work and required infrastructure
• Strong knowledge on processes for interfacing with enterprise process flows like Order to Cash, Inquiry to Order, and Customer service & complaint management.
• Experience on Integration with enterprise applications like SAP, eBiz
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English. Should be able to create and present the solution to the client management
• Should be able to guide the team on technical issues for resolution.
• Work on PoCs / white papers / solution as per the client requirements for submission of a proposal
• Work with ATG alliance on consulting opportunities with TCS clients
• Knowledge on UML and design skills
Education
 
• ATG certification is mandatory
• Expertise in Java / J2EE technology
• TOGAF certification is preferred

Description:   
Ideal role for a former infrastructure architect who has worked in consulting and is now in industry, maybe as a project or program manager, director or delivery manager to act as a liaison on all matters infrastructure for applications and the business group (it is a group of quantitative analysts).
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.  MBA a plus.
10+ years of progressive IT experience desired and/ or consulting experience including  technology program management in medium to large size organizations.
Work in matrix corporate environment. Background working with global virtual teams highly desired. Strong consultative/client facing skills required. Proven competency in motivating and effectively leading matrix teams/resources.
Strong understanding in IT infrastructure architecture. Certification in ITIL, Six-Sigma and PMP a plus.
Attention to detail, but also ability to see the bigger picture and achieve the proper balance between 100% accuracy and timeliness (the 80/20 rule).
Experience in exposure to senior management staff (BU Heads, Practice Leads, CxO).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding global environment, supporting colleagues located around the world
Speaks and writes clearly and effectively even when relating complex information.
Financial Management: understands and has prepared quantitative business cases (ROI cost & benefits) supporting IT initiatives including what-if scenarios, probabilistic confidence levels, and risk analysis. Experience preparing and presenting quantitative business cases (i.e. cost and benefits analysis) supporting IT initiatives a plus.
 
• Financial industry experience (eg. investment banking, pension fund, hedge fund, asset management) preferred, not required
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather requirements on the IT product line through interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Support the Business Operations by providing a touch point for IT.
Partner with business leaders including Business Unit Heads and their teams understand strategic and tactical business objectives.
Work with IT Leadership team to create and implement business strategies that leverage and integrate IT strategy of architecture, infrastructure, and application development of existing and new technology to achieve business objectives.
Intake and execution
Work with the Business to define current and desired future state operating models and business capability roadmaps. To define business value associated with desired IT projects - define quantifiable and qualitative measurements of success.
Work with Business to document the priorities for Business projects and initiatives.
Work with IT and Business partners to define requirements required to achieve business objectives.
Support new commercial activities that leverage IT services to our customers.
Represent business needs in the identification and prioritization of IT performance improvement opportunities.
Analyze and evaluate of information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Collaborate with different peers in business units (product lines and application development) to establish technical and functional views on the IT platform and analyze the tradeoff between usability and performance.

REQUIREMENTS
 
Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and financial systems as related to ERP processes.
Strong knowledge of EDI systems.
Skill in programming using Visual Basic and C++.
Skill in using Microsoft Office Excel and Access applications, including SQL and macros.
Skill in ERP systems customization.
Skill in Crystal Reports.
Skill in planning and implementing projects and using project management software.
Ability to explain IT systems information to non-expert users.
Ability to prepare clear, understandable system and procedure documentation.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system and software issues.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of Epicor Vantage or comparable ERP systems experience in a manufacturing environment, including subsystem and standalone PC-based system development.
 
Provide ongoing support to users on ERP system operation, capabilities and limitations.
Perform ERP system customizations, including user defined fields, tables and data entry screen modifications.
Develop and maintain ERP system level forms, reports and data file generation using Crystal Reports, Visual Basic and standard ERP system tools.
In coordination with users and/or outside consultants, perform systems analysis, specifies design parameters and manages implementations for ERP subsystems and bolt-on applications (i.e. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), bar code scanning, eCommerce).
Develop and maintain standalone PC-based applications and/or integrated ERP subsystems using standard applications and programming languages (Access, Excel, Excel Macros, Visual Basic, C++, etc.).
Recommend and coordinate the use of outside information technology (IT) services (contract programmers, consultants etc.) as needed for system maintenance and development.
Create project plans and implementation schedules.  Develops and maintains IT system documentation, user instructions and process documentation.
Develop and deliver end user IT systems-related training.
