Act as a relationship manager in the Columbus GA market, calling on Greater Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL area. Candidate must aggressively market financial solutions with a goal of winning clients and expanding existing relationships. Conduct relationship reviews with business and affluent customers and prospects and identify, sell or refer appropriate financial solutions including credit products, deposit products, private client products and services, investment products, trust services, insurance services, and financial planning. Develop prospects by making consultative sales calls, qualifying prospects, and converting prospects to clients. Develop and maintain effective referral sources. Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all relevant products and services. Coordinate with Portfolio Management to support the quality, profitability, and managed risk exposure of the loan portfolio. Participate in community development activities that materially contribute to business development efforts. Partner with other employees within the market to ensure a uniform, consistent, and effective approach to community involvement. Partner with area and regional leadership to maximize the effectiveness of corporate giving within the community.

REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business related field. Minimum of five years banking industry experience. Business, commercial, or corporate lending experience, specifically focusing on partner products and processes required. Demonstrated solution based sales experience in the financial services industry. Demonstrated success in business development efforts. Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Candidates must demonstrate strong understanding of team dynamics and motivation.

General Description

Responsible for managing one or more projects (that have significant technology components) within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction.

Scope of Position

Numbers supervised: Varies depending on the size of the project, generally 3-7.

Expenditure authority: Varies with the size of the project and seniority of the project manager.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1.         Assemble key players on the project team and manage the work are resources involved.

2.         Direct, motivate and manage the people

3.         Delegate responsibility and task interfaces and manage conflicts to early resolution

4.         Establish and update plan with cost estimates, track incurred costs and forecasts. Must manage deviations from the plan.

5.         Manage and deliver the required product(s), for each project, phase or stage

6.         Ensure quality is achieved as planned

7.         Deliver to time and cost within agreed tolerances – balancing the needs of project, client and organization

8.         Report to respective stakeholders

9.         Escalate decisions and any unresolved issues

10.      Conclude the work upon completion (or premature cessation)

11.      Ensure that standards and methodologies are being followed

Accountability

1.         Liaise with project’s sponsor and business manager.

2.         Ensure transparency in all aspects of the project to the entire project team and Tokio Marine Management.

3.         Ensure all project requirements and objectives are properly documented.

4.         Identify the stakeholders and verify the Key Success Indicators as the basis for managing the project.

5.         Establish guidelines applicable to the project

6.         Obtain and manage all necessary services and staff for the project

7.         Approve or recommend all required commitments and liaise with supplier and contractor representatives

8.         Prepare short-term plans or stage plans as the project progresses

9.         Ensure timely activity, integration and productivity of technical support and administer efficient use of resource to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion

10.      Approve all appropriate project expenditures

11.      Track and report project progress, including realistic forecast of final target positions

12.      Manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost

13.      Enable quality assurance and quality control as appropriate

14.      Facilitate project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation

15.      Escalate issue to the next level of management

16.      Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and “manage” the stakeholders

17.      Document, obtain approval and track all change in project parameters

18.      Document all obstacles, delays and claims

19.      Ensure satisfactory transfer for “Case, custody and control” of product upon completion

20.      Prepare and end of project report

21.      Close all project documentation and archive appropriate records

 

Education Requirements

1.       Relevant certification in project management (PMP)

2.       Bachelor degree in relevant field/technology

 

Experience Requirements

1.       7-12 progressive years in projects involving technology platforms that include Microsoft Windows, IBM MVS or LINUX; client/server; internet technologies, JAVA J2EE;

 

Required Skills

1.       Goal orientation and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and delegation

2.       Experience and understanding of property & casualty insurance operations

3.       Experience working within a technology department and understand the development and operational processes.

-Provide training, coaching and development opportunities to the maintenance team
-Provide for effective employee relations within the technical unit by ensuring that employment practices are fair and consistent

-3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a food/beverage manufacturing operation
-Ability to conduct assessments, audits and evaluation to measure progress
