Business Analyst/Developer to assist with database application coding and help build in-house tools and applications to support complex hedge fund operations.  The candidate will work in a small team of developer/analysts in a Reporting group, investigating diverse issues across the company and developing scripts and/or databases to resolve them.

 

Candidate must be a fast learner with an excellent ability to digest new material, able to work independently with excellent written and oral skills, and have the capability to work with users, identify issues and implement (and document) solutions.

 

Requirements:

• 3+ years proven experience modeling, design & coding applications in Access/Excel/VBA
• Extensive knowledge & experience with data modeling, SQL, database & GUI design
• Excellent project planning, communication and presentation skills
• Expert skills in other scripting tools (eg. Perl, Tcl) a plus
• Degree (or equivalent strength & experience) in an analytical/numerate field such as Economics,   

finance, Math, Engineering, Computer Sciences

Energetic, aggressive, technical sales professional in the Northern California area. Sales managers are responsible for the identification of leads within target markets. Sales managers are also responsible for developing strategies to grow sales and maximize market coverage. Specific responsibilities include:

- Expand existing relationships to maximize sales while exploring additional cross-selling opportunities
- Identify target account list within defined market segments
- Call on national accounts and architect and engineering firms to build awareness for company products, establish high-level relationships, and propose and close equipment and service sales.
- Identify and develop strategic accounts and other channel partners (e.g., energy service providers, equipment OEMs, deregulated utilities) for resale of products.
- Provide customer feedback to the applications group to be incorporated into product offerings

The incumbent should have a minimum of 5-10 years successful direct sales experience with highly technical products- preferably in on-site power generation. Strong presentation skills are required. Successful record of sales to national accounts strongly preferred. "C-level" sales experience also strongly preferred.

System Architect. The ideal candidate will be the Chief Architect providing technical leadership over at least one Simulation Training programs and new business pursuits. More specifically, the successful candidate will lead system architecture activities for an Information Services contract, developing and managing a technology roadmap to address customers' needs, providing cohesive solutions that deliver the best value solutions to customers of large-scale, IT-intensive logistics information systems. The successful candidate will coordinate extensively across multiple integrated product teams to ensure strategic coverage of architecturally significant aspects of information system solutions. The selected candidate will fulfill their responsibilities in Lanham (MD), with moderate travel to customer sites and other sites.
