For a major hedge fund specializing in fixed income strategies. The person will work on implementation and maintenance of the company’s prepayment and residential credit models, as well as their integration with the valuation and risk management systems. 

Required skills: 
· Expert level C++ development skills. 
· Ability to master concepts in mathematical finance in a short time and implement them in computer code. 
· Extensive experience with distributed computing and large data sets. 
· Proficiency in Python, C#, ability to develop GUI a plus. 
· Excellent communication skills. 

Desirable background: 
· Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline, MSc in quantitative finance a plus. 
· At least 1 – 3 years experience with mortgage backed securities in a major buy or sell side company. 
· Experience with SQL
