Start up environment. The company is over a year old and is 100% angel funded at this point. There are 6 people on the development team, excluding consultants.

Position:

5 years web development experience

- 2 years Ruby on Rails experience
- Strong HTML, CSS, Javascript and JQuery
- Candidates need to be comfortable in a Agile environment
- Must be comfortable pair programming
- Will work with the developers and compliment team

- Candidate will participate in group and table discussions and should be comfortable stating their opinions and thoughts
- No H1s or relos
- There are currently no benies, but they are planning to add insurance in Q1 or Q2 (for perm)
- BS or MS in related field

This position is planned as a 2 month contract to hire. If you meet someone who wants only contract they will consider consultants for a 3 month assignment.

We have a consulting assignment in Colorado Springs for a a few business analysts who have done work in claims. The client is looking for people geared toward EDI healthcare transactions. The position will support the regulatory mandate for the healthcare transactions to move from a 4010 standard version to a 5010 standard version. At a minimum, we need resources that are highly skilled at managing multiple priorities. The resources need to have healthcare and X12 transaction knowledge. This position will interface with customers both within the organization as well as outside the organization, document requirements, facilitate the interaction and hand-off of requirements to techincal staff, testing coordination with internal and external teams and serve as the coordination point for implementations.

Required

2-5+ years of Healthcare experience
2+ Electronic Data Interchange experience with an emphasis on HIPAA X.12 (but other formats acceptable as well)
2+ years of IT Business Analysis Experience
2+ years of gathering / documenting business requirements
2+ years of any one or more of the following functions: project coordination and /or Implementations of external client interfaces (payer, provider, etc.)
Strong experience in Translating Business Requirements into technical specifications

Assets:

Familiarity with SDLC
Healthcare transaction preference would be focused on claims and real time transactions
Project lead / project management experience

The rate would be $42 per hour corp to corp/$37 per hour W-2.
