Sr VBA Developer 
- Support creation and maintenance of Excel/Access based pricing tools, in alignment with the methodologies and practices applied in the US and globally. 
- Requires excellent VBA skills and ability to deliver within very tight deadlines. 
- This role will evolve over time to incorporate other programming skills and environments. 

Essential Skills: 
Excel VBA 
Fully versed with all Excel workbook features and functions. 
Write VBA to the Microsoft standards, i.e., naming conventions etc. 
Strong experience with ADO and DAO connectivity to Access and SQL Server. 
The ability to create Userforms and associated control events. 
Able to create bespoke User Defined Functions. 
Global constants / variables. 
Clear and concise syntax construction. 
Transparent documentation and code notation. 
The use of arrays to manipulate large volumes of data. 

Access / SQL Server: 
Strong Access skills. 
Ability to manipulate data using SQL and Access VBA. 
Logical database structuring. 
Exposure to SQL Server. 

General: 
5-7 yrs experience writing VBA in a work environment 
Self motivated / excellent planner 
Knowledge of Insurance terms and practices. 
Exposure to Insurance pricing models 
Fast learner with the ability to pick up concepts quickly 
Excellent communication skills
