A recently launched social shopping site featured in the mainstream media is hiring a product manager. This is a great opportunity to work with passionate entrepreneurs and experienced investors at a great space in Tribeca.

Responsibilities:
Specify feature changes or upgrades to enhance product
Draft functional requirements documents to guide development
Create wire-frames, direct artist's renderings
Coordinate with marketing and engineering to develop and deploy features
Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders
Work with stakeholders to monitor and analyze product performance daily

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a product manager for a consumer facing Internet company
Thorough understanding of Facebook and popular social networks and their integration with applications and websites

Strong Plusses:
Passion for Fashion
Startup experience
Experience in the teen market
Game design and development experience
Internet commerce experience

• Production of daily operational deliverables in line client service level agreements
• Daily Trade, Position and Cash Reconciliation\
• Applying all pricing procedures as applied to all funds
• Break resolution for all open items with the brokers or clients
• Updating Security Master File information
• Updating OTC master agreements and confirmations
• Verifying Corporate Actions reporting for all funds
• Support the conversion of all new clients
• Work with P&L Specialists on any opens issues per client
• Assist in checking test results for all in house system enhancements
• Work with client in a professional manner to resolve any open issues
• Run end of day management reports
• Process client GTM files via excel
• Ability to work to specified daily deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Ability to seek out and assume extra responsibilities within an expanding department

Education, Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelors Degree qualified
• Knowledge of Hedge or Mutual Funds
• 4+ Years in Financial Services with an exposure to derivative instruments and reconciliations preferable
• Strong Customer Relationship skills
• Working experience of financial products

• Preparing daily flash P&L for Clients that trade listed and complex derivatives product types
• Analyze various portfolios that are traded on a daily basis applying different trading strategies and understanding the pricing of listed and complex derivatives product types.
• Analyze daily price variances and P&L movements and explain these changes to clients
• Verify prices at month end that include listed and OTC securities with varying degrees of complexity
• Review and analyze monthly changes in P&: and Price Variances
• Understand and explain the P&L effects of open items with the clients
• Analyze P&L effects due to the processing of corporate actions for daily and monthly clients
• Work with Operations and Back Office Analysts on any open issues
• Assist in analyzing and testing results for in house system enhancements
• Work with Risk Group and Security Master Group to ensure proper P&L capture and risk management reporting
• Work with Conversion Group to help bring new clients onto Accounting and P&L applications

Education, Qualifications and Experience
• 1-5 Years in Financial Services with an exposure to P&L Reporting and analyzing portfolio’s P&L.
• BS or BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• Strong product knowledge, both Domestic and Global security markets
• Fixed income/derivative product knowledge helpful
• Strong Customer Relationship skills
• Knowledge of Hedge or Mutual Funds
