One of my clients is a global professional services firm, US headquartered, with about 65000 people on staff, that is looking for a project manager for infrastructure engagements in Boston.

This is a full time position, long term, of course.

This is a synopsis of what they are looking for:

Senior program manager (> 8 years of PM experience) with the following skillset requirements:

1 Strong project/program management skills with ability to manage technical and systems/infrastructure projects. Must have knowledge about iterative, RUP and agile project management techniques. Having a PMP certification would be a plus. Managed multiple projects concurrently with associated staff

2 Good communication, planning, co-ordination skills. He must be versatile with managing project delivery with multiple key stakeholders across the firm. Having some technical background on managing systems/infrastructure implementation and application monitoring projects will be a plus (and to some extent a necessity)

Experience in the financial services industry PLUS some consulting experience PLUS experience coordinating onsite-offshore projects.

The position will pay to a base of $130000 plus bonus.

The Mfg Business Analyst reports directly to a project manager and will maintain effective communication with our client's manufacturing team; work closely with client to resolve problems, answer questions, document current and future state and provide solutions.
The candidate will also assist in formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies, and define user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications.
They will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals using excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications:
15+ years experience with IS-related projects, minimum 5 years supporting Mfg business processes
5+ years experience working with end users to influence/recommend/design/define/document business requirements and processes
5+ years experience working with IS staff to translate business requirements into systems specifications
5+ years experience with project management, multiple simultaneous projects, managing project plans/schedules, risks/issues, change control, status meeting/reporting, and communications
5+ years working in an environment of complex business systems integration components, both COTS and home-grown, within some or all of the following environments: Unix, NT, relational DB (Oracle, SQL Server), and web
5+ years hands-on experience working in all stages of systems life cycle development: concept and business case, COTS evaluations and make/buy recommendations, requirements, design, development, testing, training, implementation, maintenance
Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Additional Skills:
The position requires a good grasp of Manufacturing processes, must be able to turn requests into requirements, and assist with delivering a technical solution to meet the requirements.
Demonstrated leader in IS, influencing the appropriate application of business systems and processes to meet business requirements, working with IS and business to manage changing priorities with work requests/projects
Experience with outsourced delivery of IS projects/developments (working with contractors and consultants) a plus
Positions at may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances.

The incumbent collects, researches, and analyzed statistical and financial data for short-term and strategic financial planning and reporting. Prepares financial and accounting policies, reports, and statements. Develops new or revised policies, procedures, and reports, which provide effective financial planning, accounting and reporting of financial information. Coordinates/analyzes/prepares monthly forecasts for assigned units, the preparation of management reports, and contributes to the preparation/analysis of strategic and operating plans to ensure the development of financial objectives for the department and Corporation. Provides financial and statistical data to be used in special projects as required by the unit/section. Prepares financial statements and reports. The incumbent primarily works independently on recurring reports and projects. The supervisors assign additional tasks, but do not usually provide a detailed schedule of accomplishments. Only exceedingly complex problems are expected to be referred to the supervisor. Most information is obtained through research from financial statements, published reports and computer listing. The incumbent may request information from peer staff within the Finance Department, other departments and subsidiaries. This contact occurs to clarify information required to complete assignments.

Mininum Education: BA/BS in accounting or other related field; Preferred Education: BA/BS in accounting or other related field; Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of financial analysis and/or financial services experience; Preferred Experience: 4 years of financial analysis and/or financial services experience.
