Sales Director Toronto, ON, CAN

Description:    Manage existing client base and expand to new clients. Territory is all of Canada. 

Report to VP of Sales with responsibility for executing the new business sales process by creating relationships and managing the sales process for service offerings. Identify opportunities through cold calling, trade shows, seminars, advisory board leads, partner alliances and networking channels. 

Responsible for clarifying expectations of potential clients thoroughly to the internal teams with the help of the solutions group. The jobholder is involved in all aspects of managing the sales cycle and facilitating client interactions with appropriate solutions, sourcing and delivery teams. The jobholder also works with the business development team to update CRM tracking tools like Salesforce, fine tune proposals & presentations, and other materials as needed to establish a relationship and complete a sale. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
· To bring in new business by working closely with marketing and other functions 
· To handle different activities in the sales cycle that include client meetings, presentations and 
· solution selling. 
· To prepare forecasts and reports as and when required by the manager. 
· To build and expand business relationships by involving in seminars, tradeshows, networking channels. 
· To update the sales CRM systems to track all opportunities through the life cycle. 

Requirements: 

Education/Experience: 

· Bachelor’s Degree 
· Advanced degree is an advantage 
· Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT services/solutions company 
· Experience in having sold and managed onsite/offshore projects 

Competencies: 
· Strong interpersonal skills 
· Trustworthy, with strong ethics 
· Results oriented, self-driven 
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timeframes 

Interpersonal Skills: 

· Proven ability to gain cooperation of others 
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
