Market, present and determine reinsurance needs for insurance and reinsurance companies. Maintain and enhance carrier and other industry relationships through meetings, speaking at industry seminars and being involved in relevant actuarial working groups. 

Product Development. 
Identify industry needs and associated fits within the firm’s business model and develop new reinsurance products. 
Maintain awareness of changes in U.S. statutory, Solvency II, Captive regulations, tax, GAAP and IFRS accounting/reserving changes, industry implications and needs, new reinsurance / financings products and the application of those products. 

Financial Modeling 
Build and maintain detailed reinsurance pricing models on reinsurance transactions for new annuity, life and structured financial products. 
Assist with due diligence and treaty review/negotiations for all transactions to include detailed audits of counterparty financial models. 

Knowledge and Skills 
8+ year’s actuarial experience in pricing, valuation, or business development of life or annuity products. 
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation. 

Minimum: 

Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. 
10 years experience within the insurance industry 
Must demonstrate recent and relevant experience with pricing/product development of reinsurance structures. 
Experience as a key stakeholder in an actuarial department and/or business line. 
Relevant product development experience with life and/or annuity products. 
Experience in financial modeling/forecasting for life and annuity products. 

Preferred: 
Experience modeling life insurance liabilities. 
Experience modeling variable annuity products and pricing of guaranteed living death benefits. 
Experience with actuarial software including TAS, MoSes and MG-ALFA.

A growing global company is seeking a talented and motivated senior WAN network engineer to join its Global Backbone Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that is responsible for planning, designing, engineering, and supporting an advanced carrier class WAN environment in an enterprise setting. This fast-paced environment will challenge your knowledge of BGP, MPLS, QoS, Multicast, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS/XR, JunoOS, and other complex network technologies. In this role, you will be an important member of a critical team for our firm. 

Must have core MPLS backbone development experience 

• Primary responsibility to design, build, and support the next generation global backbone infrastructure 
• Act as an subject matter expert (SME) and also provide 3rd level support for Backbone related incidents 
• Proactively monitor and measure the overall infrastructure performance and recommend/drive the necessary corrective measures if needed 
• Evaluate and test new technologies and offerings from various vendors and make recommendations 
• Develop and publish network design templates and other documentation for use by implementation (and other support) teams 
Qualifications 
• Minimum of 7 years experience ideally working in a carrier network or in a large enterprise network in a design, engineering, or architecture role 
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and RIP 
• Hands-on experience with Cisco CRS-1, 7600, 6500, 7200, 
• Strong knowledge of carrier technologies such as SONET, SDH, DWDM, and Ethernet services as well as the ability to work with carriers for troubleshooting purposes 
• Strong understanding of MPLS technologies such as L3 VPN, L2 VPN, and any combination of at least two of the following: VPLS, MPLS QoS, MPLS TE and mVPN 
• Hands-on experience with traffic monitoring and management toolkit, NBAR, NetFlow, SFlow 
• Strong understanding and hands on experience of multicast technologies such as PIM Sparse mode, PIM Dense mode, and PIM SSM 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly articulate complex issues 
• Team player with proven track record of successful project delivery 
• Motivated self starter 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• CCIE (any specialization, with lab) is required; CCIE in service provider specialization (CCIE-SP) is desired. PMP/PMI desired 
• Bachelors or higher in relevant field 
Desired Skills 
• Any quantifiable project management skills, certifications, or experience is a plus 
• Any team lead or management experience is a plus 
• Experience with Packet Design, OPNET, and similar tools is a plus 
• Experience with JUNOS is a big plus 
• Familiarity with ITIL framework 
• Juniper MX240 platforms 
• Hands-on experience with packet design route analysis tool and OPNET network engineering and planning tool is desirable
