Legal Specialty Group - Build, manage, and retain a portfolio of Wealth client relationships with a focus on new client acquisition. This is accomplished by helping clients define their financial goals and objectives, analyzing clients current financial resources and financial positions, identifying appropriate products and services to help client attain their objectives, ensuring clients are introduced to appropriate specialists, inside Wealth and outside Wealth, and effectively closing sales for appropriate products and services. Identify, generate and grow wealth management revenue from new and existing clients that meet or exceed annual goals. No relocation available. Minimum 5 or more years financial sales experience in the financial services industry with high net worth clients. Must be a proven self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to develop a high profile in the local market. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales goals and keep teams focused and highly motivated. Ability to think, plan and execute strategically. Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective presentation skills. Ability to develop productive relationships with other lines of business. Ability to provide clear direction and define priorities for sales teams. Ability to identify sales and market opportunities. College degree required. Computer proficiency required. Preferred CFP or CFA designation and an advanced degree and if not, must be willing to obtain CFP in first 2 years of employment. Strong commercial credit background. Strong knowledge of NYC market and established center of influence in the legal community.

This position is located in New York City and will report directly to the Head of CIB Equity Compliance. Responsible for identifying and managing compliance risks as well as developing processes to mitigate regulatory, legal and reputational risk across the Equity division of CIB Setting Strategic direction for oversight of compliance related risks. Establishing training to address new rules, regulations, policies or other compliance related areas Identifying and make recommendations to resolve systemic risk. Responding to regulatory inquiries Managing internal audits and regulatory exams Resolving real-time compliance issues Drafting compliance policies and procedures Participating in management meetings and committees with Sr. Management to establish compliance and risk policies and procedures Participating on Executive Steering committee to direct and design the policy, process and implementation of cross-functional, corporate wide initiatives Developing program(s) to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, banking and securities laws Presenting our program(s) to regulators to mitigate risks Ensuring that resources are aligned with strategic priorities Actively lead efforts to recruit, develop, evaluate, and maintain staff. Leading Project Management initiatives Accountable for Regulatory Risk oversight across multiple product areas May develop and influence relationships with Senior Management.

Candidate Must Have :
* Advanced presentation skills Superior oral and written communication skills Demonstrated project management skills Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
* Expert knowledge of SEC, NYSE, NASD and other equity related rules and regulation Experience handling equity and equity linked product compliance issues
* Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to partner with business and other support groups to manage and complete projects Strong organizational and project management skills
* Minimum 5-7 years experience at a broker/dealer or regulatory organization Four year college degree, JD preferred but not required Series 7 and 24 preferred but not required
* Preferred: Graduate degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 –5 years of management experienceMon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Derivatives experience is a plus, looking for solid writing skills and compliance knowledge, candidate must have very strong Equities compliance background.

POSITION OVERVIEW/MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

 The Quantitative Operations Project Manager position resides in Global Analytics, a quantitative research group, within Investment Operations, providing analytic services supporting Marketing, Portfolio Management and Research, globally.

Initial responsibility includes providing day-to-day supervisory and hands-on analytic data support for general quantitative analyses and for analytic applications such as Performance Attributions, Portfolio & Risk Characteristics. This includes but not limited to internal and external data gathering, organization, aggregations, quality control and automations. The position involves working with both technology and business units to establish efficient underlying analytic data environment and operational processes to provide the above mentioned services.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE :
*    A successful candidate should possess at least a BS degree in Computer or-Finance related majors and at least one year experience in relational database (SQL) query language (must be able to write simple sql queries) and in the financial services industry.
*    Knowledge of capital markets data (market indices, equity/fixed income securities) and the ability to communicate well with their business community is a must.
*    Project management skills and strong interpersonal skills desired.

- Candidates should have relevant technical / database programming experience supporting preferably an asset management business
