My Client is a leader in building and delivering innovative tools and services for the world’s largest publicly traded companies. Solutions include website hosting, news distribution, multimedia/webcasting services, and market surveillance functions. 

In this role, you will oversee technology architecture for all current and future platforms. You will be responsible for developing architectural strategy with a focus on standardization, reusability, security, multi-device/multi-lingual delivery. Your strategy will take into consideration current platforms, budgets, business/enterprise roadmaps, and industry best practices. 

You are comfortable communicating with all levels of management, and enjoy the challenge of selling your ideas to development and implementation teams. You have extensive experience working in an enterprise setting, and have worked closely in at least one of the 4 contributing architecture disciplines: business analysis, applications/systems engineering, data/information architectures and technical architectures. 

You are innovative, resourceful, and self-directed. You gain the respect of your peers quickly and are able to excite stakeholders and colleagues about a strategy beyond the next 12 months. 

Responsibilities 
• Oversee architecture strategy for Global Corporate Solutions Technology group, with a focus on standardization, reusability, security, and multi-device/multi-lingual delivery 
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on new projects and technologies; ensure adherence to technology roadmap 
• Assist development teams and product managers in defining technology direction for new projects 
• Assist in monitoring projects from requirements through implementation; ensure implementation of appropriate technology architectures at every stage 
• Research technology trends to ensure that systems are continuously improved and aligned with NASDAQ OMX standards and industry best practices; designs and provides updates to standards to enhance GCS solutions. 
• Increases the effectiveness of the organization by promoting standardization and reusability 

Qualifications 
• 10 years experience in architecture and development of services based applications 
• 3 years experience in lead architect role 
• Full life cycle experience, responsible for the development of a complete set of architectural views for an enterprise in accordance with one of the more common architecture frameworks 
• Development/design experience in enterprise class web applications 
• Development/design experience in highly secure application frameworks 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Development toolkit, including .NET and SQL server 
• Strong business analysis skills and experience, including development of business vision and strategies, functional decomposition, requirements capture, process modeling. Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns. 
• Experience of ‘system of systems’ architecture development, partitioning of functionality among applications and components and application interfaces/interoperability concerns. 
• Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development.
