Description:    Work on Critical projects that focus on Straight through Processing of trades across Asset Classes. 

Responsibilities 
As part of the STP team, you will: 

Develop highly critical real-time STP Systems across Asset Classes (Credit, Fixed Income, Rates, FX) 
Develop Trade Delivery Systems to deliver trades to clients internal Risk Systems via a host of proprietary feeds 
Develop Trade Delivery Systems that deliver trades via various Middleware’s (ICELink, Markitwire, VCON, Reuters, MarkitServ, CME ClearPort) 
Develop Clearing Systems that integrate with various Clearing Houses (ICE Trust, ICE Clear, LCH, CME) 
Develop Reporting Systems that integrate with various SDR’s (DTCC, CME) 
Integrate with various upstream Trade Capture Systems 
Integrate with various downstream Post Trade Systems 
Work closely with various groups involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle 

Required 
Strong core Java, Data Structures, Algorithms, Multithreading 
Spring / Hibernate 
Web technologies – Servlets / JSP’s, Spring MVC 
Messaging experience (Tibco, IBM MQ, RMI, Web Services) 
XML technologies (XMLBeans, XStream, Castor, XSLT, XPATH) 
Database Design, SQL, ORM, JPA 
Workflow and Message processing Experience 
Build Frameworks – Ant, Maven, Artifactory 
Unix/Linux and Windows 

Desired Skills 
Product knowledge of Credit Derivatives is a plus 
Product knowledge of Fixed Income Products is a plus 
Product knowledge of FX Products is a plus 
Product knowledge of Interest Rate Products is a plus 
Experience on Financial Messaging protocols - FpML, Fix protocol, FixML is a plus 
Experience on Messaging Middleware – Tibco, IBM MQ is a plus

* Ph.D. in Plant/Molecular Breeding or related scientific fields (Agronomy, Genetics, Horticulture, etc) with 5+ years of experience or M.S. in Plant Breeding or related field with 10+ years of professional experience 
* Field breeding experience with experience facilitating Information Technology connectivity within a program and data management current knowledge for new science and technological developments - proven ability to apply those to continuously improve functional area capabilities 
* Strong computer, analytical, and creative skills are needed to analyze data, prepare management updates and crop site literature 
* Leadership skills- implement new statistical methods 
* Expertise applying Information Technology and data analysis to solve operational breeding problems 
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally 

JOB DESCRIPTION 
* Apply defined scientific principles to solve data management problems and Information Technology systems for data capture in field and laboratory settings 
* Design, conduct, and interpret experiments/trials 
* Collect phenotypic descriptions and summarize multi-year data sets 
* Exploit new developments from the scientific literature 
* Develop and implement research and/or technology-driven proposals effectively document and communicate research findings and achievement of project goals 
* Identify problems and make recommendations for multiple projects 
* Implement recommendations balancing conflicting requirements across projects 
* Facilitate problem solving within the team and serve as a liaison to support teams in Crop Genetics, Research, and Discovery Breeding 
* Demonstrate experience in facilitating Information Technology connectivity within a program and manage data Must keep abreast of new science and technological developments and exploit them to continuously improve functional area capabilities 
* Use computer, analytical, and creative skills to analyze data, prepare management updates and crop science literature for visits of breeders, growers, and others 
* Be an experienced and effective investigator/breeder, developing technical expertise and leadership capabilities 
* Use special expertise in the applications of Information Technology and data analysis to solve operational breeding problems
