This role will concentrate on channel or partner development and work along side the partner development sales team. The focus of this position is to develop new partners and train the partners’ sales team and SEs the product and its value. This position with also be involved in joint sales presentations with the partners. 

They are looking for someone with a broad range of technologies, someone who can look at other products and understand how the products will work together and create a value added solution. 

80% travel 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
· Alliances technical due-diligence as well as identification and analysis of synergies between our company and third parties’ offering. 
· Planning and executing evaluation and pilots 
· Running technical Q&A sessions, 
· Preparing technical presentations, product demos and delivering them 
· Providing ongoing technical support to strategic partners. 
· To ensure an intimate understanding of our business and sales model the Technical Alliance Engineer will also engage in limited tactical support for direct sales processes, supplementing the organic account teams. 

Essential Education, Experience and Skills: 
· Technical BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. 
· A good understanding of the sales process in general, and partner work in particular, is required 
· Demonstrated ability to work with technology partners 
· Presentation skills: ability to give technical and business presentations as well as product demos; ability to answer competitive as well as complex technical questions and address partner/customers concerns. 

· Communications skills – excellent communications skills and the ability to work within a cross functional matrix organization. 
· Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and turn them into business concepts and directives 
· Technical background involving commercial enterprise management software products (7+ years). 
· Experience with complex sales to large enterprise customers. 
· Ability to understand complex heterogeneous IT system architectures involving software solutions from multiple vendors as well as homegrown code. 
· Good understanding of application performance fundamentals. Preferably experience working for an application performance / system management ISV 
· Familiarity with multi-tier web applications, application servers, relational databases, and protocols and standards such as J2EE, .NET, HTTP, SSL, XML, JDBC, SQL. 
· Ability to work alone and as part of a small team. 

Nice to Have: 
· Experience with supporting business development activities 
· Ability to author technical documents and white papers

The Business Analyst is responsible for the successful gathering and organization of business requirements for both client and market driven projects related to Financial Product Reporting and Accounting with a focus on derivatives. Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation on new interfaces and enhancements to existing interfaces for business clients. Incumbent may review, confirm, and/or approve elements of the interface development process. Function as a member of Business Analysis team and independently for interface modifications and support. Ensure tasks are completed on a timely basis and conform to specifications, processes and standardized best practices. Position requires some travel. 

Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or technical area or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. 
• 5+ years of experience in IT solutions development preferably in medium to large corporate environments. Experience in financial applications and business analysis is also required. 
• System knowledge of EAI tools like IBM Websphere Transformation Extender (formerly, Mercator or Ascential DataStage TX) 
System knowledge may include SQL, XML, Java, C, C++, Excel (macros and VBA), SQL, FIX, XML, XSLT, Perl/shell scripting and the suite of Microsoft applications. 
• Strong knowledge of IT software development life cycle methodologies and processes. 
• Solid project management skills. Strong time management and prioritization skills. 
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities. Prior experience managing customer expectations. 
• Ability to deliver specific solutions to general requirements under tight timeline and budget constraints.
