Description:    ● Strong web and mobile UI design skills, which are demonstrated by your online portfolio 

● Ability to collaborate with a small team 

● Experience working in a fast paced, iterative design environment 

● Fluency in HTML5/CSS3 

● Clientside Javascript and experience working with server side code are pluses but not required 

Spearhead the design of a web application. The work you do will help set the design direction of future products, so the firm is looking for someone who has successfully led design for web and/or mobile applications in the past. 

Work closely with a UX researcher to define the visual design and interaction model for this web app. Also work with a small team of developers and business analysts that are involved in this project.

Description:    6+ years accounting experience. 
Bachelor s degree in Accounting. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Public Accounting (prefer Big 4) experience including Life Insurance or Life Reinsurance audit client exposure or combination of public accounting and Life Insurance or Life Reinsurance industry experience. 

Preferred Skills 
Masters in Accounting and/or MBA. SEC and Federal Reserve Regulatory reporting exposure or experience. Experience with derivatives and fixed income portfolio accounting 

Perform complex accounting activities in support of the reinsurance line of business including the application of the requirements of FAS157, FAS 133, and FAS 91 
Prepare audited reinsurance legal entity financial statements including footnotes. Act as primary Retirement Controllers audit representative. 
Research and provide guidance to business partners for the appropriate accounting treatment. Research and interpret accounting pronouncements 
Gather, review and analyze financial and operational data required to accurately prepare SEC and Regulatory reporting schedules 
Prepare or review journal entries to the general ledger 
Prepare or review balance sheet account reconciliations and complete required certifications 
Perform adhoc analyses and participate in projects
