Project Purpose/Summary:
The Corporate Financial Reporting Department, has successfully implemented an internal web portal to centrally communicate and collect supplemental financial information requests, deadlines and status of open requests to business unit controllers worldwide. The portal allows controllers to respond by assigning resources to information requests, monitor progress and insure timely/accurate information submission to a central repository.

Leveraging the strengths of the current portal, the client will expand its features to meet additional financial data collection needs. We have identified over 100 schedules from Tax, Treasury and Insurance to migrate from spreadsheet/email collection to the portal's automated/data base management collection process. A portal enhancement project has been defined and commissioned. The project will result in an expansion of the people using the portal to collect data, and an increase in the number of end users submitting input. The volume of schedules will increase by about 275%.

5 years Database Administration experience with at least 3 years Sybase Replication experience. Additional / preferable skills: Scripting with Perl, UNIX, Bourne, etc.

Must be able to work in a production environment with multiple database servers and a disaster recovery site.


Duties include maintenance of Database Servers in a development environment.
