Develops and implements effective Java-based software solutions and selects, configures and maintains ERP system implementations in an effort to support the growing needs of the TFA business units.
Collaborates with a team of development professionals in the design, configuration and implementation of future IT solutions (e.g. ERP systems), including the procurement of outside products and services, development of new IT products and the integration of present systems with new technology.
Works with vendors on new systems implementations and knowledge transfer.
Evaluates technology project requests and builds, tests and maintains solutions that are strategically aligned with business unit needs and technological imperatives.
Competencies:


Five years overall core Java development experience in a dynamic environment
Collaborative interpersonal skills to work with management, vendors and colleagues at levels of the organization.
Demonstrated expertise with development, configuration, implementation and maintinance of vendor packaged corporate systems solutions
Strong Stakeholder orientation.
· Experience working within Agile development methodologies, preferably XP a strong plus.

Technical Competency:
1) Demonstrated technical experience utilizing core Java in:

Test Driven Development
Custom Integration & Reporting
2) Exposure To: Datawarehousing/OLAP, PERL, Python, J2EE/Ajax, Tomcat/Apache, JMeter, Websphere (or other Portal technologies), Web 2.0, Postgres or Oracle, Linux, UNIX, Open Source Development, Rapid Application Development Methodologies (JAD Sessions, Agile a plus), Rational Suite.

3) Ideal Candidate has Software Development/Support experience with one or more of the following applications:

Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Taleo, ADP, Blackbaud Raisers Edge/Financial Edge, Clarity Planning & Analysis.
MS SQL Server, Oracle or DB2, MS Windows, VB6/.Net, IIS, MS Access, MS Excel Macros
PeopleSoft, SAP or other ERP related systems
