Description: | Work on project tasks throughout the datacenter networks per approved change window and architectural guidelines. The engineer will work on various network hardware/software but biased towards Cisco Routers, Switches and Load balancers and Checkpoint firewalls. The engineer will work to ensure that network devices are implemented, maintained and highly available as deployed for the business' applications. The will implement configuration on customer-facing devices. The engineer is required to update/maintain all documentation requested by management and will be tasked with improving such documentation as required. This is a global role and the engineer will be required to produce documentation for all sites Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Responsible for the technical review / approval of network level changes and implementation of the most complex changes Work with other technical groups to help delivery of business critical projects Maintain sufficient familiarity with business / application / systems requirements Provide project implementation support during business and occasionally off business hours Create and update network infrastructure documentation Provide input to the manager of Provisioning teams to define / refine group practices to meet team's objectives Qualifications BSC in Computer Science or equivalent degree Required Skills: 2-4 years of Network Engineer experience. Analytical and detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal communications. Have proven knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, load balancing and security concepts Familiarity with ITIL processes.
