Cash Management
Keep current with developing strategies and technologies in the cash management arena to ensure that productivity continues to be enhanced and cost savings are achieved. Forecast the medium term cash needs of the company to determine if the maturity of investments can be lengthened to obtain higher investment returns.

Bank Relationships
Work with the Treasurer to maintain very close ties with the relationship banks. Ensure a proper balancing of fees earned by the various banks while optimizing service and minimizing overall cost.

Balance Sheet optimization

Stay current with all debt and equity strategies and market trends. Monitor the company's financial metrics as they affect the various covenants contained in debt instruments to ensure that there is no risk of covenant violation.

Rating Agencies
Assist the Treasurer in interacting with the Rating Agencies to ensure the company's credit rating properly reflects its financial performance, strategies and balance sheet.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
MBA is considered a plus
Position requires a minimum of 15 years of related professional experience with 3 years of Director-level positions at sizable companies ($750M + revenue, 1000+ employees, multiple locations across North America and Internationally).

Experience:
Position requires Commercial Banking experience
Large corporate experience is considered a plus
Detail oriented with good organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
