Business Analyst / Advent Geneva Implementations Specialist

With UNDERSTANDING of Accounting processes and Hedge Funds 90k plus bonus



Position Responsibilities

· Analyze client business requirements and work flows and produce documentation

· Working closely with clients to define project requirements, priorities, and deadlines

· Maintaining clients' open issues list and update all Project Stakeholders accordingly

· Work with development and operations staff to service new and existing customers

· Ability to articulate systems integration requirements (e.g. data types, sources, formats, and timeliness)

· Good understanding of Hedge Fund industry specific reporting requirements

· Good understanding of legacy data reconciliation practices

· Understanding of data cleansing practices, ability to assist in data mapping exercises

· Good understanding of Portfolio Accounting

· Good understanding of process modeling practices

· Conduct individual or group product training sessions as required





Position Requirements

§ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in implementation, migration, and integration of Advent's Geneva product

§ 2-3 years Financial Services and client implementation projects experience in the Financial and/or Hedge Fund industry

§ Experience with back-office workflow, trade processing, accounting, P&L calculations, reconciliations

§ Knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, derivative securities and trading strategies

§ Proficient in MS Office, intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred

§ Professional presence, ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
