        Description:    Origination, structuring and marketing of ABS to  customers. This individual will be expected to work to create and promote SI's (Securities) ABS product business from scratch.

Description:    This role will involve the developing of core infrastructure software components (server side & UI) that will be used as the foundation for multiple deliveries. These include trade booking, market making, pricing, and risk valuation applications used by the mortgage traders in New York City and London. The role will require close interaction with the other technology teams, understanding their requirements, and developing and/or enhancing existing solutions to meet their needs. The candidate should be familiar with all phases of delivery, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing 

Essential: 5+ yrs software development experience in a complex application development (client and/or server) environment. Experience using Python, C#, Java, or C++. Needs a strong understanding of distributed architectures and framework/API development. College graduate with a Bachelors technical degree with strong computer science fundamentals or equivalent experience. 

Desirable: Python development practices with a focus on writing thorough and testable code. Experience with Linux system and distributed computing. Experience with database development on RDBMS or OODBMS; Experience developing desktop or web applications using C#/.NET or Java; Experience working with and supporting mortgage trading.

BS degree in MIS preferred. 
Must have experience in using SQL and Visual Basic. 
Proficient in MS Access and Excel. 
Java experience is plus.
